Our Hospice Vision

When Every Moment Matters...
Our Vision for Guided Journeys Hospice & Palliative Care…

Imagine at the end of life there is a place that offers peace, comfort, and joy for you and your loved ones.
Here, you will receive expert medical care and personalized attention.
Upon entering, everyone is welcomed and greeted with a friendly face.
Here, we celebrate life - your life -a life well-lived and well-loved, a life not defined by illness but how you choose to live it.
It is about providing a better ending and creating space for more of life's moments.

This is Hospice. Life's Moments.

New Guided Journeys Foundation Hospice Rendering

Why Guided Journeys?

The Guided Journeys Foundation is working to build the first hospice residence in Lethbridge, AB.

Our hospice and palliative care will be a place of reflection, honour, and celebration.
In our community, every family will experience the need for palliative care. Having the proper facilities and infrastructure in place with a hospice residence ensures families can spend time with their loved ones instead of driving out of town, worrying about care and pain management, and feeling isolated from their support networks.

Hospice & Palliative Care:

We need the guidance of a compassionate community to help us through our end-of-life journey.
We intend to design our building to feel more like a home than a hospital.
Additionally, it will be equipped with the necessary amenities and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that all needs are met in the most comfortable and caring manner possible.

Project Financials:

TBD

Site selection, budget, and conditions will determine the specific layout and floor plan.

Construction Details:

The Guided Journeys Foundation plans to build a palliative care facility in Southern Alberta situated in the serenity of the prairies. The hospice will be a tranquil, caring space for people from all walks of life to spend their final days in the most dignified and loving manner possible. We desire to create a beautiful, unique environment that awakens the senses.
